Anyways, I'm trying to find a way to upscale an image to gigantic resolutions (8,000x10,000). I believe ultimate SD upscaler can do that, and it does that by working on squares at a time. Is there a way to change the prompt for each square so I can keep the denoising high but a nipple won't pop up on a leaf?

Few changes. More steps on pass 2. Increased CFG on both passes. Changed upscale models.

I cannot run a pass on anything higher than 1920x1080, so the final upscale can't be refined afterwards.

Either way, I'm happy with it. Appreciate the input.

Nice! Yeah, the optimal would be having a pass over the upscaled one, but pretty cool nonetheless!
If you are limited by VRAM, there are tiled upscale custom nodes, but I only use them for gens I really like - since they take a long time on large images.
Just in case you might need them in the future, I can suggest either UltimateSDUpscale, or the Efficiency Nodes has a sampler that takes a script as an input, pic related. The latter can use a ControlNet not to stray too far from the original image also. The input latent in that case is just the image VAE Encoded.

I have 24GB of VRAM but the ZLUDA fork severely limits some of the nodes I can use.

It also just shits the bed sometimes.

Overall looks good to me to be honest. If the gens in this thread are done with this, then I like it already.
If your goal is more detail, I'd maybe check (for the upscale part)
- trying out different sampler+scheduler combos, eg. karras is really cool for painted-ish look, but something like euler_ancestral with either exponential or sgm_uniform produce finer edges (though model dependent) as far as I can tell
- increasing the steps slightly and decreasing the cfg slightly if it looks overbaked with the extra steps
- maybe check a higher denoise with the above steps in mind?

If you wanted to go higher resolution, then you can probably increase the denoise (0.3 - 0.4?), and the steps also a bit.

I only use that upscaler node with flux, so cannot really give tips&tricks on its specific settings tho.
