Ive had this bruise in my chest that hasnt gone away in at least 2-3 years now. Everything I look up on it points to either an issue with my blood cells not being able to properly heal the area such as low or abnormal blood platelets or blood-clotting problems, although no other part if my body ever has any issues healing cuts, bruises, etc. the other significant cause I keep seeing is lukemia however ai feel thats not right either as I feel like over the course of 3+ years I would have already seen a significant change in my health. Anyone else have something similar to this or may know the cause?

Could be Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Most likely benign if it’s been there for 3 years not growing in size, irregular borders, colour changes etc.
Get a blooe test if you’re concerned about the other stuff but it’s not likely

Id think its from something like that for me if it wasnt on my chest, I dont ever sit or lay any kind of way that would put pressure on that spot
