If you voted and your state went blue, then maybe Florida wouldn’t have mattered and Florida came down to just a few hundred votes. So even the presidential election a few votes out of 300 million still matter. The electoral college gets a lot of criticism but nobody ever mentions that it makes your vote matter. And then there is everything down to the city level and people just don’t participate
