Why do you completely fail repeatedly to understand atheism? There are plenty of resources online where you can educate yourself, and yet you come to a board full of literal shit.

Atheists don't get that way because they encountered difficulty. For me, I settled on atheism because religious people of all stripes are clearly doing nonsense rituals and talking to themselves. They come to the wrong conclusions about how the world works. They use their faith to take away the rights of others. The most logical explanation is that they invented a god and it tells them it is okay for them to do whatever they were going to do anyway.

Why do die hard Christians always think it is God's will/plan when they do something stupid that kills someone.

For example, not allowing their children to get surgery to heal them and instead opting for "JeSuS wIlL hEaL mY kID!" and then they die. "Oh It WaS gOd'S pLaN tO tEsT uS!"

a) The odds of Jesus returning from the dead are slim to none and the odds of lying humans making interpolations to embellish the tale later is far more likely.

b) The big 3 are in competition with one another and at least 1 wanted atheism to flourish to weaken christianity and so they helped make atheism popular 20 years ago.

c) The fact that many christians are heavily critical of science when science is supposed to be empirical makes it appear that christians are "against reality" and hard to relate to for an atheist.

d) The fact that most of the population, atheists included, are horrific science illiterates means it's very easy for an atheist to become enamored and fall prey to the fact very little that is passed off as science is actually science.

e) Tribal instincts are real and atheists and christians get dug into their positions and against each other because they constantly enter in little retaliation spirals. Even if a casual christian/atheist hasn't done anything an atheist/christian that's got a bone to pick can say some mean shit to the christian/atheist and now the atheist/christian feels like they're getting "attacked out of nowhere," and so the pattern repeats.

No. There is a case to be made that there was 1 big deceiver that got the ball rolling, and sure, while that leaves room for later charlatans to push it along? ... most christians are sincere believers.

In my experience, talking with other formerly christian atheists, hardship never enters into it.

The catalyst is usually reading the bible thoroughly and critically. But not always.

For me its just the extremely weak metaphysical position of Christianity and all prher world religions that remove them as probable contenders for further understanding of the world.

Nope. At least one rapture has already occurred. This planet is, in fact, the place that some people from Earth (such as myself) were raptured to. We weren't "taken to Heaven." We were brought here instead. We're now on a real, physical, 3D planet that is definitely NOT Earth.

Bottom line: This planet is Bozrah, not Earth. Furthermore, the event in which Jesus destroys this planet is called "the day of vengeance." There will be no 7-year Tribulation or Antichrist here—because this isn't Earth. Earth is roughly 75,000 light years from here (and is currently going through the Tribulation). This is just an impostor planet.

Make sure to read my pinned X thread (all four posts). And regarding my X bio, I am exactly who I say I am. Bozrah natives must break free from the spell they've been under. This entire situation has gotten so ridiculous. At this point, I'm just waiting for the day of vengeance.

Pinned X thread:

or

I'm genuinely curious: How long will you keep pretending this is Earth? The time for pretending has long since passed.

What sort of things do you imagine atheists have a particular hard time understanding?

I think I have spoken to more atheists than you, being old and living in a country with extensive personal freedom, and I do know some things that atheists in particular seem to have a hard time gransking.

Many struggle, for example with understanding why others are christian, or muslim or hindu and see it as some sort of personal failiure on the part of the believer. They fail to see the grander societal chains around us that can push people without proper means to grasp nonsense propositions out of ignorance or compliance.

But i dont think this is the difficulty you are talikng about. Can you elaborate?

That's part of it, they redefined athiesm as 'believing there is no god' to shift the burden of proof among other things. Then agnostic as what athiesm actually means.

Its true there's sub categories (denominations?) Within athiesm, but it hardly matters
