Protoman: the greatest robot ever made. Unfortunately his energy core was defective and Dr.light was going to fix that. But he understood that Light would discard him which he would never. Protoman tried coming back only to see light with a new “son” and it pissed him off so much. So much so that he agreed to work with Doctor Wily to get his revenge. But throughout his journey he is still conflicted he’s a good boy but he still does bad and yet it hurts him and he doesn’t know it. In the end it culminates to him saving Rock from Wily. It still doesn’t change his desire to be a lone wolf. Rock may be a good robot, but Blues had powerful emotions that even made him go through fits of rage and rebellion, he made art by whistling his own tune, he longed to find some belonging in the world and that drove him to be nomadic, and then he kept a scarf as memorabilia given to him by Light. Protoman was the most human robot, a robot born mortal. Unfortunately maybe because of his own freedom, he suffered a lonely fate probably somewhere nice before his core gave out. I change my mind OP
