Ok. I'll explain. 4chan has an image limit on all of it's boards. Each thread can only hold 150 images. This, along with the image size limit, is to save server space so they can continue to run this site on a moldy potato from 2005.
In a request thread like these, it's important to make sure that as many people get their requests in as possible. As a common courtesy, this means that you should take a look at the how many images are currently posted.
At the time I'm writing this there are 194 posts, with 150 images, and it's on page 3. I know this because at the bottom and top of the page it lists this clearly.
SO! When the thread already has several unfulfilled requests and its above 140, you posting a new image to request, not only means I won't get to you, but also keeps others from getting their requests fulfilled.
I get that it sucks to not notice a request thread until its about to close out, but that doesn't mean you should fuck it up for others.
Your best chance would have been to respectfully ask if I had the time to do a second thread. I can often be persuaded to do just that. Unfortunately I have a meeting with my boss in a couple hours and have something i need to finish between now and then, so I won't have time for at least a few more hours
