What monster movie scared the shit out of you when you were small?
>>936842663 (OP)I'm still relatively small. only 19 inches tall
>>936842953You just have to fuck up everything, don’t you? Sad lonely fuck.
>>936842663 (OP)monster movie per se, I don't recall any. I do recall being terrified of Child's Play and that wolf in The NeverEnding Story, and I mean, true irrational fear.
>>936842663 (OP)I never really watched monster movies/ horror when i was younger but i liked the 1998 godzilla movie even if it's rated poorly today.
For me, it had to be the brother’s grimm. Well, this was not really a horror movie, there were some moments that scared the crap out of me as a kid. First time I watched it I was scared of the werewolf moment, and then the spell enchanted horse that bat spiderwebs and then swallowed a human kid hole.
This movie turned me away from horseback riding lessons. I am autistic and I used to use horseback riding lessons as animal therapy when I was younger. I got over it, but still that scene was traumatizing.
(Side note: I can’t believe that there are people who actually fetishsized being swallowed hole. Yikes)
Also, is anyone on here ever freaked out by the final destination franchise? Saw this newest one about a couple weeks ago and it was way more intense than the other ones. Literally the first time I had to walk out of a movie briefly as an adult to catch my breath.
Jaws, actually.
But like not the shark, my mom showed me and my brother the movie when we were young and when they show the corpse missing an eye we both bolted out of the room.
When I was 5 or 6 I found a tape that had Aliens and Invaders From Mars. That shit fucked me up until I was an adult.
