Nah. I've been playing them my whole life. From OG NES to today. I'm not even a little bit trans. Built like a guy, sound like a guy, work a job that gets me bitched at about "toxic masculinity" by some of the more feeble minded. I don't mind trans. Some of them are pretty cute. before i became a girl i played an mmo and i never said i was a boy or a girl and everyone just called me "she" and i liked it and that's probably the point i started asking questions about who i was

I assume, they are fun soo instead of socializing at prescribed hours kids do not and socialize when they finish their game. that social component is important, so they look for it online where they are vulnerable to enemies of state. i think recess could dramatically reduce number, so getting kids involved in a after school program like a sport might help, the coach is a good bellwether for the outcome of the students in those programs.
after school programs are a preventative measure, once infected i recommend a removal from ecosystem that includes internet.
