Persona 5 would be better if she rewarded you with a kiss for completing all the side challenges, and wore a sexy outfit.
Persona is in a weird limbo state where it’s taking more cues from moe otaku shit, but still has Megaten’s dark, serious tone as a base. It’s why tourists love this game. It’s sanitized for them. In any other JRPG 2016 and backwards, you’d be able to romance Lavenza and she’d probably have a bath scene or something.
I didn’t completely notice this about the game until more recently, but something about the very PG sexuality of the game always nagged at me like it was kinda off.
I think it makes it less entertaining than it could be, and the story is already kinda silly, so it’s not like you’d be adding lowbrow fanservice to some piece of high art. It would fit the tone pretty well, and make the game feel more complete.
