I don't understand, so the Israelites are the bad guys in that war?

Israelites have been the bad guys for all of human history.

basically, every wrong doing in European history in the last 3 thousand years can be traced up to some small hat tribe

The truth is Israel is a play-pretend, fake "state" carved into a region and there are no "good guys"
The only "good guys" are the people who don't want any more wars from the US/UK/Israel faction, but keep voting because they're too dumb to know that voting doesn't make any difference.
