Atheism is an anti-religion based upon a belief system that other religions are wrong. Atheism can not prove something doesn’t exist but bases its own argument that their opponents can not prove something does exists.

Atheism should just declare itself a religion and take the tax break.

I said atheism is a religion based on being anti-religious.

Religion is a belief system.
It depends upon faith to support it.
Atheism? A belief system dependent of faith. It simply places the burden of proof on other people.

Atheist? “I believe gods do not exist.”
Believer? “I believe gods exist.”

We actually have science that questions existence on observation. A cat is both alive and dead at once.

Atheistic belief is that the cat has to prove its existence to the atheist.

What happens if religion is like a bacteria? It exists but we as humans can’t detect it yet?

Again. Religion and atheism is the same. Both practitioners are smug, self satisfied proselytizers who can neither prove or disprove their position.

that's not how that works, religions have to prove their claims to be true, and they can't, claims aren't somehow true by default and now you have to prove them wrong
