Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women.

Pretend to be happy until you are. Do what other people suggest like exercising, pursuing a meaningful career, etc. Have friends that you interact with regularly and can count on. Once you feel like you matter to others, it will become easier. Youโ€™ve heard it all before, but itโ€™s ultimately up to you to try.

P.S. donโ€™t troon out

I'm the antithesis to self improvement. I can't be happy by exercising and being good with other people. There must be another way.

Remember your childhood dreams โ€” especially the ones you haven't fulfilled yet โ€” specify them as much as possible and pursue them relentlessly.

Embrace your loneliness, and try to channel all of your darkest thoughts and write them down. If you want to be happy on the long run, you need to learn more about yourself and learn to not care. For when you actually learn all of the good things you've done, the shitty things and the not-so-cool things as well, you can finally reach a point of understanding who you truly are and be happy.

Also start pursuing something you may find interesting like, being the best at something you love or try to find new things, get out of your comfort zone. Also, get a hobbie, like, listen to some tunes, collect comic magazines, maybe watch anime idk

I tried all of these things and it didn't work (I hate myself even more now), but at least for some people it did work.

Just stop caring. It's that easy. Invest in your future and yourself, eat healthy, spend time with friends all the usual stuff people say to do. Don't avoid that, but also just stop caring about anything. If anything makes you sad, just stop caring about it. It doesn't matter if you don't care. It's like a life hack, my life's been great since I worked this out.

Don't ask me... thinking of it, it is very hard to remember when was the last time I felt happy. It was way more than a decade ago, from what I can recollect.

Oh yeah. I exercise. Even now, as I write this, I'm in a minute long pause between two sets.
