>>937087943This sounds like bullshit, like the idea that your brain stops developing at 25 because that's how far one study tracked people.
Childhood is miserable these days. It's not playing. It's constant school starting at 3, which completely fails at teaching incredibly basic life skills like reading, you have zero freedom, zero money, and it's endless rejection, theft, and violence from your peers. Maybe you can look at an iPad for a bit and then get screamed at for wanting a little escapism.
You usually get some freedom at 18 but no money. College is fun and it's better if you can study something you enjoy. Most degrees are useless, but boomers refuse to understand this and think a six week certification program is equivalent to a master's degree. Like my mom was telling me about how smart her friend is for getting a real estate cert in only a few months when I have two STEM degrees from major universities and am certified in six areas of the medical laboratory. Or that her junior college degree in art is the same as mine.
I think my life finally started becoming enjoyable at about 37. I wish I had more money but at least I have the ability to try to succeed instead of just being stomped down at every turn.
