Might come off as a cope but having no kids in my 30s is insanely comfy bros. I do whatever I want and don't have to be at the mercy of some bat shit crazy wife or some braindead kid on their ipad. Not to mention the financial benefits.

Right now I'm just sitting back and enjoying a quiet Monday without a fucking soul to bother me, does it get anymore comfier than this bros?

>in b4 seething parents come in this thread and screech about passing on your legacy etc

You might not ever get married but you never know, my buddy has been married for over 20 years with 2 kids, I've only been dating my girlfriend for 6 months and have no kids yet either

Honestly I'm 100% with you. I'm 35 and so happy I never got married / had kids. I'm literally:

> fucking tons of girls all the time
> doing whatever I want
> Banking so much money I'll be retired at like 42

Life is easy and I wouldn't change any of it. I was actually thinking about it today and quite frankly all the people I know who have kids aren't really happy -- especially the men.

Right now I have:

> $78k in index funds
> $16k in crypto
> $38k in a traditional IRA (I'll probably invest $30k of it into a crypto IRA when bitcoin drops again)
> $9k in silver

I also have a $170k home, but guess what? I'm relocating for a new job, so the company is handling selling my home for me (tax free). So I'm going to pocket the difference between the home's appreciation and what I owe on it. I'm going to rent for the first year in the new city and if I like it buy a bungalow. Then sell it when I retire at like 42.

I'll probably start investing in mutual funds because they have better returns than VOO/SPY but I'm just waiting around.

Good stuff. My younger brother is 25 and and has two kids already which I have no problem with except for the fact that his wife is such an insufferable cunt plus thr fact I've had to help him financially because having a kid jn the hospital is expensive as fuck. He's never said it but I feel deep down he's miserable.

well its about wether or not it is going to bug you when you are 60+
are you okay with most likely being alone, no one wanting to visit some old fuck
what if your 70+ in a nursing home, no family alive to visit you, no kids, nothing

Its pretty chill. Whats amazing is my buddies with bitch wives and kids will complain about it and tell me not to do it, and then In moments of extreme weakness go into cope mode and are like "oh no i love it you should do it to"

Like bruh you think I cant see how miserable you really are? Not that they don't love their kids but they are miserable as hell.

Of course, I feel like shit right now because I found a used condom in the trash of the girl I was sort of dating, confronted her about it, and went home 2 nights ago. I guess thats over.

nobody likes visiting their old fucking dying family. you have a high probability of losing your mind and being a massive burden.

why would you want to inflict that on others?

38, still with first love, house and no kids. Neither of us dont want them. Not married either, pointless as shit. I have a 3yr old niece and that's about enough for me.

all 3 of my older brothers got married, have kids
they sometimes do argue with their wives.
Ive seen some crazy arguements

But i also seen them happy af, just chillin with the family

The moments i see it worth it to them is when they brag about getting paid, raises, taking family on vacations, providing for them. it always makes them smile, ego boost, and its like validation to them

so they get happiness out of it, but in a different way that people get happiness without kids

No offense anon but this is a lousy argument. Plenty of people with kids don't have their kids visit them. And even if they do, they don't visit that often.

>no family alive to visit you, no kids, nothing

You'll still have things going on. In fact, you're way more likely to have other relationships and belong to other communities if you don't have kids.

>>937104062
>Like bruh you think I cant see how miserable you really are? Not that they don't love their kids but they are miserable as hell.

100% I see this all the time.

>>937104227
This is also a win IMO.

>>937104232

>so they get happiness out of it, but in a different way that people get happiness without kids

I feel like a lot of it is viewing pooping out babies and having a wife as a "stepping stone to adulthood" because they can't see any other path than that one.

I never said it was a good arguement, i am saying its an arguement that is one of the more relevant when considering not having kids

my mom has told me of two of her aunts that are old af now. have no kids. How sad it looks for them. How they regret not having kids

Like without having kids to bond too, as you get older, your family is kind small. To some this is important. If its not important to you, then it doesnt matter.

in the end, just literally do what makes you happy
But idk how trying to re-affirm each other of your choices here is proving you are happy.

i never met a man in my life that has told me "bruh, its time for me to have a kid. its next part of me being an adult"

thats crazy lmao

A lot of reason's people have kid aren't great.
Oh shit we had sex, fuck it.
Oh shit, i want to keep her, poke hole in condom.
Oh shit, she wants me, she poked hole in condom.
oh shit, she wont get rid of baby, fuck it, baby time.
Oh shit, green card, lets go.
We love each other.......shit now we dont.
Kid will fix our marriage.....shit maybe the second one will.

So many bad reasons vs the little good ones that people can actually do or reach.

People just be out here fucking.

Just a note for all the Anons in here. I'm 35 and have lived a really incredible life. I've dated quite a few women who wanted to marry me and wound up deciding I was going to stay single at 31. I ended the longterm live in relationship with the girl who loved me. Here's what I took away:

Many of the people who have kids have them on accident. They put on a brave face and act like "it's the best thing that ever happened to them." It's typically because it's the only time they've taken responsibility in their lives.

A lot of people get married and have kids to fill a void. Then they find out that doesn't make them happy either.

A lot of people are having kids because they feel like it's what they're supposed to do.

Just remember -- the overwhelming majority of married couples you see end up divorced -- regardless of what their facebook looks like.

>>937104973

> i am saying its an arguement that is one of the more relevant when considering not having kids

Right, and I'm telling you it's irrelevant and stupid.

>my mom has told me of two of her aunts that are old af now. have no kids. How sad it looks for them. How they regret not having kids

Yeah because they're women. Almost all women want to have kids. As a man you have othe roptions.

>Like without having kids to bond too, as you get older, your family is kind small. To some this is important

Right. Those people end up having kids

>But idk how trying to re-affirm each other of your choices here is proving you are happy.

Nobody here is claiming posting on a japanese trap forum is making them happy. The point is it's nice to see other /b/ros who go against a culture saying YOU MUST HAVE KIDS because for men it's basically a fucking trap.

>>937105131
>I never met someone

Well duh, the people who have kids for that reason lack the self-awareness to what cultural values are, much less than they're axiomatically inheriting them. It's been researched to death.

>People just be out here fucking.
