The goal, with any transplant, not even just stem cells, is to find someone who closely matches the recipient in every possible way. It has nothing to do with race. It's unlikely that a white child's parents would be their match, since neither of them are 100% genetically similar to their child, each sharing a portion of their DNA. For race related children it's about a coin flip, 50/50.
For mixed race children, it's about 25%
For any child getting any match from any sibling, the odds are the same across the board, 25%. White kids, black kids, mixed kids, Indian kids, all the same when it comes to sibling transplant. If it was race related, wouldn't the 2 mixed race kids of the same parents have higher odds, or kids of the same race from the same parents?
