You know you aren't a "skeptic" as much as you tell yourself, but an angstheist.
Some like to appeal to apathy differentiating between internet atheists and normal atheists but the apatheists are going to hell because of their lack of survival instincts.
Just seems retarded all-round no matter how you look at it.

How come people aren't aware that "atheist" could mean "antitheist", "apatheist", "distheist" or several other (and often mutually exclusive) variations. Including just "not a theist", by the standards of one who avows themselves to be a believer (truly, or self-deludingly).

In short, "Atheists" as a group is fairly diverse and unpigeonholable. And "skeptic" could be just having a questioning attitude, but is often thought of as someone who actually doubts, probably is by those who think "atheism" is also a homogonous singular thing.

This is not for your benefit, OP, but for the benefit of those that might fall for your incoherent and probably insincere worldview.

This is bullshit. You sound like someone who gets mad when you find out that someone doesn't go to church. All those groups you mention share big commonalities. They don't believe in gods. You could lump them all together as non religious. You probably want to divide them up as some way to make individual groups easier to convert or at least win internet arguments with.

It's like this:

Me: I don't believe that a god exists.

You: okay but are you 100% sure?

Me: No, but I find it extremely unlikely that gods exist because I've noticed believers come to conclusions unsupported by science and that people have kept coming up with clearly imaginary gods for thousands of years.

You: then you're not an atheist! You're completely different from someone who has faith that there is no god! And also completely different from someone who hasn't been proselytized to! And someone who can mathematically prove that there is no god! And you're different from someone trying to figure out whether there is a god! And you're different from an arsonist who burns down churches! And you're different from a Laveyan Satanist! And a atheistic Buddhist! And from someone who thinks the local preist is a pedophile! And someone required to go to alcoholics anonymous via court order! And someone who calls themselves an atheist because of some tragedy! And from someone who believes in nothing unless they can see it with their own eyes and it can beat them in a boxing match! And and and I have a whole big taxonomy for all those groups!

Me: but I don't believe in gods and neither do they. So what is your point? We all sleep in on Sunday mornings unless we have something else to do.
