All Epstein records were sealed by judicial order until after the conclusion of Ghislaine Maxwell's trial.
They weren't unsealed until January 2024

So no, Biden could not have just released them - doing so would have been a violation of the law. and while one political group might well not care about the law, thankfully, some people still do.

could he have ordered a release after that point? yes. But they weren't campaigning on the Epstein files. It was only the republicans who were using them as yet another rage-bait to rile up voters.
