One of the great mysteries of Epstein is how he made his vast fortune. The blackmail-for-profit theory is interesting, but I find it to be a little less compelling than the intelligence asset funded by government agencies, gathering blackmail not for profit but for political power and favors.
People have varied reactions to blackmail, but most of them are hostile; do you think that the people being blackmailed by Jeffrey were visiting his island regularly, paying him millions or hundreds of millions of dollars while simultaneously flying in his jet and sipping champagne with him?
The access to high level public and government figures, the lavish lifestyle, I don't think that comes from blackmail, I think that's a prerequisite you need to make the rich and powerful comfortable enough to be secretly filmed doing crimes

We should have learned from the Jackson Trials. Remember how everybody "knew" Michael Jackson did it? Then he's found not guilty on like all 11 counts. Then testimony comes out later that kids were lying on the stand, and nobody is held accountable. Then phone calls are released from the plaintiffs saying they were doing it for money / to hurt their ex wives, and nobody is held accountable. Michael is dead now and his legacy is ruined forever. We're going to have to reach a point where we stop just assuming everyone is guilty until they prove their innocence.

As for Democrats - it seems either fewer fell under Trump's blackmail control, or they are totally ineffectual at thwarting Trump's rise to dictatorship because they are threatened with exposure if they properly resist. The few unsullied newcomers that do stand up are too few and dismissed as "communist" to be of consequence.
In the meantime, Dems are focused on the girl victims -valid, but missing entirely the bigger picture: the transition to dictatorship. When complete, perversions might become a reward on a new island or equivalent.
The tragic crime of flagrantly disregarding the Constitution has to be stopped first. This is why Trump does NOT want the Epstein info released - if all the blackmail was revealed, he would lose all leverage on the perpetrators to do his bidding. And clock is running. Soon Trump will have all the necessary powers to control elections through local oversight officials being replaced by his minions. He already has the judiciary, congress, and law enforcement doing his bidding, and he's also working on controlling the MSM with lawsuits and takeovers.
