I don't know very much about the furry thing, so I was hoping maybe you could clear up a few details for me....

Believe me, I know. I'm still undecided out of my 3 options, but if I do go into nursing then yeah, that'll be exhausting for sure, but it is the most likely to pay off the best. I'd love to start a business, but I just don't think it's going to happen. Nurse Practitioners are in great demand, and it's a job where I'd feel fulfilled.

I actually know a nurse so some inputs if you'd like:
- It can be quite physically straining and isn't unlikely to cause back problems and similar things
- working hours will (in most cases) include ample work at odd hours
- high level of responsibilty
- wages here have gone from atrocious to pretty good in the last few years but that may rebound once more workers are available / the elderly die off
- big plus: nurses are needed EVERYWHERE, so there's always another potential employer unless you fucked up royally. Easy to find work in another town if you desire to move

Nurses make good money here, median wage is right around $100k, and if I pursue CRNA (anesthetist) then that can double. I just can't decide if I want to keep doing math and go into engineering, maybe something supply chain related, or nursing. My brother is going into radiology, so it might be interesting if we both pursue the medical field.

I did the DTM in GT4 with a 190E (the slowest car qualified) with just an oilchange and NOs. Probably wouldn't have needed those either.

Well, slow is relative with those old DTM cars. Those are based on normal cars and only had 380HP but that's still plenty for a 190E.
Wouldn't stand a chance against the later carbon-fiber silouet cars with a 4l V8 pretending to be a roadcar but the games opponents don't seem to use those to their full potential I guess.

I did play with a Daihatsu Midget II after that though. That one is slow. If you leave it stock. If not, well it's below 600kg.
