it's the worst of all worlds
in an instant you have no friends or family to speak of, which can be a relief in that you no longer have to care about any of them and can go do whatever you want
only you can't, because you can never have privacy because everyone in the world knows who you are, so you can't even go start a new life somewhere, it would be a horrible curse, you instantly have no one close and also no chance of privacy

I remember when this came out thinking i was like Truman
