This. I love going to one of the several dispensaries in town and getting a fat ounce of killer bud for $50 or less. And if I spend like $150 on an ounce it's some crystal chronic shit that would've been $350 back in the day. Top shelf shit is often on sale for less than $100/oz. Gummies are $5/100mg. Concentrates are $10/gram. Even the $25 ounces are better than the mids of 20 years ago. There's really no bad weed anymore. Even the stemmy and poorly cured stuff is still of fancy strains and plenty stony and makes for excellent use in tinctures and butters and oils.

I sometimes enjoyed the adventures of scoring weed, but like you say there are times when you just don't want to deal with it. And if you're new to weed or an area people will pinch your bags when they help you score. All that shit is over FOREVER. I love this future. For all the shit in this country that seems fucked up and wrong, I have legal weed that's cheaper than any drug has ever been. They have 1 gram 1 dollar joints FFS. There were times I paid $20 for a gram of weed and was glad to get it. Never forget.

No more smoking resin either. I just wish I could stop hoarding it when I clean my pipes. I know times will never be that tough ever again, but I still save it "just in case".

I complained to another friend and he agreed, but the retard told him I didn't like the size of his apartment instead of literally any other explanation. The harsh cat piss smell truth would have been a less asshole reason.
