What is the best Seinfeld DVD release?

I don't want any of that pan and scan shit, no stretching, no cropping, no 16:9, or any of the other Mill Creek garbage that removes content from the original filming. I've pirated several different packs and they all have some funky cropping or low res shit going on.

i don't understand....? what about the official releases that came out a long time ago? those aren't good enough?

>they all have some funky cropping or low res shit going on
isn't that due to the time it was produced?

Most shows and movies are usually filmed in a much higher res, then scaled down for theaters/home releases. Trailer Park Boys was originally shot in 1080p, and that was back in the early 2001. There's no way Seinfeld was originally shot in 320x200.

Yes, but what resolutions/ratios are the DVDs in?

reminder: when Seinfeld was 39, he started dating his wife (17 at the time)

in Season 4, George and Jerry take turns peeking down the shirt of a 14 year old (Played by actress Denise Richards)

the show is rife with pedophilia and you support it by buying the DVDs

NBC/peacock didn't save the 35mm for Seinfeld, Cheers, or Fraiser, so there are no seinfeld season 1 (or 2 I believe) in 16:9 format, but season 3 onward are all available in 16:9 (original recordings, no crop). Fraiser season 1 was 4:3 (technically 8:7) but widescreen there after. every season of Friends is available in widescreen, which is what caused a lot of controversy when the extras filling in the spot (so the actors on screen had someone to direct their dialogue towards) are seen - image related, that's monica and phoebe having a convo

didn't save the 35mm before 1990*

all their hit shows in the 90s are available in widescreen, including but not limited to: ER, Friends, Wil&Grace, Caroline in the City, Suddenly Susan, and Just Shoot Me

Well that's an interesting piece of information. They filmed that all the way back in the late 80s. I compared the a couple episodes from the first couple of seasons, saw the shitty pan and scan job (they're all shitty, it's pan and scan), and assumed the whole pack was shitty pan and scans. Now I have to start redownloading that shit again with 16:9 in mind.

Also:
>NBC/peacock didn't save the 35mm for Seinfeld, Cheers, or Fraiser
Jesus fucking christ. And what are we to believe? That this is some sort of magical, disappearing film or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
