Hoarding mentality transferred to a digital medium. If I had to guess; You also generally enjoy browsing and saving porn and you try to avoid duplicate saves but it does inevitably happen, and it surprises you how often you save dupes when you're clearing up space deleting stuff now and then, and you browse pretty frequently, possibly habitually. No not really. Like maybe I'll surf /s/ maybe once a week for like 30 minutes at most. I seldom watch porn porn anymore. I am happily married so I do have sex at least once a week and get blown regularly which I figured might be part of it but idk.

No but I do have some slight hoarders in my extended family, although I've always been raised to be an anti hoarder and prefer clean spaces, like conversely I probably have at most 10 tabs on my phone and only 2 pages of apps cleaned up. My wife thinks my collection is very beautiful and not tacky.

True and I guess that's a valid point. I think if I was here to stay I'd probably just nuke everything but my favorites folder. It's not like I'm worried about people finding it, or even caring, I still have half a terabyte on my PC, and all of it equates to maybe 4-8gbs of data at most, but also like why.

I definitely think it's like collecting rare Pokemon cards and like collecting cool rocks at the same time. You appreciate beauty, it definitely doesn't seem like something to worry about, just be sure to keep it in check. Keep collecting, but keep aware of its presence in your life

I've done similar only to realize that I lack the necessary storage space. Keep in mind that you need every language, pages arent just translated. French pages about French history or French culture or French people or things in France will have a whole different level of depth when you read their french wikipedia pages. In major cases that may not matter, but in minor or fringe cases you may find that the local language version of a page is the only version with more than two paragraphs. My wife is multilingual and helps me research things, you would be amazed how often it matters.

Also consider the bitlife of what you store your data on. I've lost 4TB to bitrot on a drive and its backup because I didnt consider it. I bought them at the same time, filled them with the same stuff, and so they died together
