Early 90s, maybe. HBO got cheaper later in the decade. The phone was silly enough that it would be in a kid's room. A second outlet like that cost money. But again, after deregulation things got cheaper.
Vienetta was a special treat for poor young adult me. We definitely didn't have it when I was growing up.
