After we all went our separate ways my roomie and i were going back to our dorm and he asked about Kate, I told him we talked at the party but she was having a hard time with some stuff. A couple days later I had just been focusing on school and trying to study. I got a short text from Kate asking if she could talk. I said id been a little worried but wanted to give her space if she needed it. She told me to come over.
I went over and she was really nervous. Like so much that it started to worry me a little. I asked what was up and she said she was just having a hard time with the stuff from earlier come up. She offered me a beer and had one for herself, and I saw three empties in the trash already. I came back to the couch where she was and opened my beer. She was quiet and awkward, obviously wanted to say something. She awkwardly said she was going to get a beer too. I heard her sigh in the kitchen and then came back with a serious look on her face.
