And the "narrative" that "dumb people" are "parroting" is that ... the Republicans voted down an amendment about forcing the DoJ to release the Epstein files.
So, it's a stunt because, although that's what they did, it was added to an unrelated bill, and because it's a stunt, they didn't do that.
