Not sure if you're retarded, or trolling, but Elon Musk has never had access to "the Epstein files", which is precisely why he wants to know if they exist and if so, for them to be released. Musk (or anybody else) making affirmative factual assertions about things they implicitly admit they know nothing about and haven't even seen is the height of childish rage lashing out with nothing but emotion rather than fact.

Musk made a series of 35 posts one day, all regarding what he characterized as "Trump's handling of the Epstein files", but he later took down the posts and apologized after he was advised by his own attorneys that Trump himself had "zero power" to release court documents under seal and protective order by three different judges in as many jurisdictions, nor does anyone, save for those judges. In fact, Maurene Comey, James Comey's daughter prosecuted all those cases (and literally agreed to the sealing of the files), and she is of course a staunch Democrat. Trump recently fired her. Not only that, but Trump just recently had the DOJ file a motion to unseal the documents (no one, and no Democrat certainly, has done anything like that). The Judge, (Rosenberg, a Democrat, appointed by Obama) refused to unseal them (as she is obviously protecting all the Democrat pedophiles everybody already knows went to Pedo Island). Trump is now appealing Rosenberg's decision.

Court transcripts are generally kept sealed because they include identities and testimonies from witnesses and could likely endanger them. Witnesses and victims also have a say in if they agree to release that knowledge to the public. They likely chose to request unsealing of such documents because they knew it would be very tricky for a judge to accept and likely be denied.

That being said, that's just one request that has been denied. It could be due to other reasons besides privacy. The fact you talk like you believe ONLY Democrats would be in the files shows you've already chosen a side and can't be reasoned with. This isn't about left versus right, this is about holding politicians, regardless where their party loyalty lies, accountable. Clinton, trump, Jesus christ himself, whoever it is, should be investigated to see how involved they were and what they're guilty of.

It's really not rocket science. We just don't want child touchers running the government, and the ultra rich yet again getting away with crimes without justice.

Not him, but you are dead wrong. I have been a practicing trial attorney for decades. Court transcripts and documents subpoenad in discovery are NOT even close to "generally kept sealed". The exact opposite is true. In fact, the default by operation of law, whether in federal or any state court is that they are automatically open. Indeed, every jurisdiction has a plethora of caselaw that sets forth that courts and their records are required to be "open to the public" and it is a massive burden to have them sealed, and against public interest, especially with respect to the integrity of the judicial system. An interested party to the litigation must file a Motion for Protective Order. They are easily opposed in standard briefing schedule, if not stricken by most judges pursuant to the aforestated longstanding reasons. The success rate in obtaining protective orders or having matters before the court under seal is less than 1%. The way that the judges in the Epstein case got around this was that it was literally submitted as an Unopposed Motion to which was attached a Proposed Agreed Order wherein Ms. Comey (the prosecutor in both Epstein's case, Maxwell's case, and Sean Combs case) literally agreed to having everything subject to the protective order and under seal. This never happens for obvious reasons in 99.9999% of cases, with the rare exception where their is a showing following an evidentiary hearing that a minor may be identified, and even then, the "file" is not sealed, but rather only the minor's name is redacted, or at best a page that refers to them with sufficient specificity. James Comey's daughter, who had a conflict of interest in even handling these cases given her father's position, clearly only agreed to all of this because she wanted the records sealed so as not to expose her fellow Democrats.

No. The burden is extremely high to get a court to seal records, and outside of identifying minors in a case like this, as where I said even if a judge was to grant it they would only order a redaction of the name, not sealing of all the records, it doesn't happen. The only type of cases that get sealed like that would involve trade secrets, cases involving adoption records (rare), and in a few jurisdictions they often do it for juvenile cases (though the trend continues to be open courts and open records) which has even been codified in most jurisdictions so judges have even less wiggle room to get around it. What these Democrat judges did in sealing these records is absolutely outrageous. I am far from being a Trump disciple, but anyone who believes Trump has any power to magically produce "Epstein files" is completely ignorant. He is the executive branch, not the judicial branch, and this is entirely controlled by the courts and specifically, in the latest news, Judge Rosenberg who denied Trump's DOJ Motion to unseal these records. Trump is clearly doing everything and anything he can to get them unsealed, else he wouldn't have even bothered to have that Motion filed. I've read it, and Judge Rosenberg's (an Obama appointee) Order denying it, and it is clear to me that Trump is going to appeal Rosenberg else he wouldn't have even mentioned some of the precedent caselaw in the brief. It was solely the Democrats that had all this sealed and it is Democrat judges keeping it sealed. Trump has no power to unseal it but seems to be going to great lengths to get it unsealed. Anyone who claims Trump is not unsealing the Epstein files is beyond ignorant as to what is and has been going on here and who has the power and who doesn't to unseal all of this.
