Why are politicians so against women having the right to bodily autonomy?
Im sick of my period because i just find it gross and painful. However i can't just "opt out" of having a cycle. It's not possible to get an elective hysterectomy (which is a uterus removal) unless i tell the doctors that im a trans man, and i have to provide proof of this claim through therapist letters, HRT etc.
I hate this cause there's no way id ever transition.
Are these politicans afraid that women will just let the entire human race die if it was too easy to opt out of having a period?

Try killing yourself. That'll probably stop it.

Just stay on the pill. No periods.

The pill is an option, but I've heard some women experience lots of weight gain, depression and mood swings so that's why i wanted a hysterectomy instead. Im worried about gaining too much weight,
