Anyone know what chair model is used in the E Corp office scenes in Mr. Robot?
I’m talking about the standard office chairs used throughout the open-plan shots (see example right behind Eliot). Any Idea?

they are those really uncomfortable black chairs with the mesh back.

Her name is Barbara McKenzie. She has an IMDB. Stop being lazy and look it up. She is actually credited as "Chair Model" in the credits.

No, it's definitely not the EA 119 – and it doesn't have a mesh back either.

Didn't the US military design the perfect chair. Hollow metal good for thousands of pounds no wheels low thermal mass lightweight. Da faq you looking at knock off helmach slaughts when you could have the king of chairs.

Man this series fucked my head around.
I did some basic cyber security shit and wanted to watch it, I couldn't figure out why but it'd give me a headache trying to think of the story and I thought it was the computer shit.
The ending made it make so much sense but holy fuck it literally hurt to watch. So many headaches.

Bro, same. It’s the only series that gave me an existential kernel panic.
It’s like Fight Club had a baby with Linux. Mr. Robot doesn’t want you to watch it. It wants to reformat your brain.

I've been meaning to rewatch it knowing the ending but remembering the actual pain I'd get just makes me not want to.
Genuinely one of the best series I've watched for the ending alone.

the backrest edges are not chromed metal

Barbara McKenzie did play that one, yeah ... but only in her heavier phase.
The EA 219’s way thicker and clearly split down the middle.

there might be a slight misunderstanding, despite being a "Chair Model", Barbara McKenzie is not someone I would trust to offer a good lumbar support for 8 hours of office work

maybe try the Chairman of the corporation in the serie?

Yeah, I get what you mean it’s intense as hell. But the atmosphere totally made up for it. And the characters… not to forget Tyrell Wellick.

Fair point, Barbara’s back support was mostly emotional anyway.
And the Chairman? Sure, if I want my spine compressed by capitalism.

The way the upholstery wraps around the backrest doesn’t look very clean here, almost a bit cheap from this angle.

try image cropping on yandex to search for just the chairs
if it doesn't work for individual pics, make a collage of several views of the chairs

"The Office Furniture Store" supplied the office furniture for Mr. Robot. Might start there.

Tried that a bunch of times already, no luck identifying the model. Would be peak irony if it turns out to be some mystery-brand masterpiece from AliExpress.

If that’s a real vendor, I’m the Chairman of E Corp.
Looks more like a scam than a supplier, next up: Barbara McKenzie’s Etsy shop.

True, not the exact model from the show… but arguably a solid upgrade.
Anonymous No.937580532 [Report] >>937581798
Not the one but after browsing for some time this brand seems to have similar features the wrap around at the back seems uncommon

Would be hard to find the exact model tbh... when was it likely made ? Pre 2015 ?

Appreciate the input, turns out it’s probably just a chair. I really thought it was an icon, like the EA 119.
Anonymous No.937582546 [Report]
Just get a normal chair.
