Incidentally, I played through Star Fox 64 today on both my 14" CRT and 27" OLED.

The CRT gave a more 'genuinely crappy' picture but the OLED gave a more 'technically correct' image.

I could not see asteroids far off in the distance on the CRT. But, lasers had a certain pop and glow. Might be able to get the OLED to have the same, it has HDR.

I've never tried to, but given the GDRs track-record with hightech.... I'd be surprised if there were many made to begin with. The majority of housholds over there never even got a phone (hence why in the 90s a lot of landline infrastructure was made, thus cementing our shit-tier internet because it was to new to replace...)
