Try cranking the steps to 45 the cfg to 4.5? Eluer A is the best for anime I believe. Theres otheres better for other things.. Like I think the "heun" one is better at landscapes, or at least in my experience and testing.

i havent merged anything yet personally.
you can generate with one model then use an i2i to have the aesthetic of another. this is good if a model or lora is over-trained to do certain poses or characters

my biggest advice is keep your prompt organized. order matters technically but not in a way i've noticed
