How to deal with rude people?
>old woman had dog (Labrador) barking up against a public gate
>I stand 20 meters away and put my dog on a lead so she can walk by with her dog
>she opens the gate and lets her dog sprint up to us
>I let my German shepherd off the lead since I’m not handling this, I’ll let shepherd handle it. He’s not aggressive but he’s dominant
>my shepherd checks the Labrador and leers over him, both standing, the lab is cowaring, my shepherd remains silent and confident
>old woman “no no no he’s way to big for her, he’s too big!
>I say “you have a lead, and you saw me use mine”
>she replies “oh well good morning to you too” in a sarcastic way
>my happy shepherd acknowledges her and she says to my shepherd “hello, go run on to your horrible owner
>I snap “keep your big mouth shut you silly old witch” then walk away leaving her shocked
