Nobody ever talks about this, but around 300,000 Chinese civilians were brutally murdered by Japanese soldiers during the Nanjing Massacre in 1937. An estimated 20,000 women and children were raped. These events still influence foreign policy even now, in 2025.

Yes anon I've heard of this, it's not unknown. You've probably spent all of your time in the west and are just now coming to terms that there's over 200 countries on earth each with their own, unique histories and major historical events which continually influence their foreign and domestic actions.
