Got this easy ass recipe off of alexandracooks dot com. It's listed as "My mother's best, no knead peasant bread" and most of it is just mixing, waiting, and lubing up a bowl with butter.

Yup. Got an offer for free chickens, then bought some more. Total worth it in the long run. I get more eggs than I can use, so I barter the rest. Last time, I took my neighbor an 18 pack and came back with 5lbs of venison

Yeah I feel the same. It's crazy the stuff people throw out but that's easy to think being in this position. Easily replaced for them. Pretty much set for life. Even when I work, I save money by dumpster diving. There's a KFC I can ride my bike to 30 minutes and they throw out freshly cooked chicken, biscuits etc. I've found big ass bags of candy as well. Alcohol whatever
>>938081747
I have established some relationships with employees. The 711 right here they all give me free coffee and food if it's late and they're close to throwing it out. There is also a pizza place I hit up sometimes but I just wait until they close. I try not to push my luck with making my existence known.

Yeah I went to a place called ECHO and the ladies there were very nice and helped me get a job and actually called one of their friends who drove an entire hour to give me the bike, a lock and some tools. I visit them occasionally and help around the place. The bike is a game changer no doubt.

You're all set up then. Your first post sounded like you might need some help. I'm living technically homeless in a trailer in the woods where I've been happy for 12yrs with almost no expenses. Maybe you can find a place to set up a good camp

I have a camp in the woods. The first job I took I bought a tent and a few other things because privacy and a place to keep my things from prying eyes and fingers became apparently the most important thing when I first became homeless. It's hard though, I'm better off than I was but damn man if it ain't an unforgiving life. There are no illusions about the indifference people hold when you're out here like this. Could be worse off and I try to remember that and use what I do have.

I bring water back to my camp. I bought a bunch of soap and a few jugs a while back and refill them at one of the buildings not far from camp. I also bought like 20 bars of soap and a stack of towels and rags so I'm good there. I'm also like 50ft from a river if I really need bathing water or it gets too hot, though I try to stay out because of the gators.

I meant that your lifestyle is just a matter of perspective. Where I live all the rich people come out on their time off & live like me for fun, then go back to jobs they hate in cities they escape from every chance they get

Yeah I'm in Florida and I definitely agree it's about perspective. People get stuck in their boxes with the way they live and think, trade their sanity for comforts but they don't know any better and it's understandable I guess. I have my issues too anyway. I could have gotten off the street a few times, but for what? I'm doing fine and it makes comforts that much sweeter when I get them. If I'm ever ready to get off the street, won't be for a while.

It does have its charms, just wish more people out here seen that. Many of them get profoundly lost out here, they don't grow and make it their own. They don't realize they dont have to be bums, they can just be people living you know what I mean? Never been homeless, just somebody making their way through life like everyone else but in my own way. Take care anon. Picture of my bitchin Schwinn.
