I have 1 kid and I now want 10 of them. My biggest regret is that I didn't start having them sooner.

I don't want kids. You're just gambling with someone else's life, the outcome is beyond your control. I don't see the payoff for the risk involved. From what I see lots of people want to die, even though they may not admit it themselves. There's alcoholics, smokers, fat obese fucks, drugs abusers etc. Shortening their own lifespans chasing a high because they are not satisfied with their own life. It's self-destructive behavior. Just that short list, comprises of more then half the population.

When people are born they cry for years. You're born suffering and the only way to cope is to adapt to it. We all come to the same conclusion, realizing that life is meaningless in our early teens, it's universal, but we cope in different ways.

Then there's all the wars and famine throughout history. What is the justification for all of it? Technological advancement? Easier lives? Don't people know that paradise is unendurable?

American society has set too many idiotic standards and expectations to keep your kids in check. Each passing generation over the past 30+ years has grown up more entitled, less educated and absolutely insufferable. I came to say the exact same thing. Wife and I thought we didnt want kids until we were both 35+ and we had two. Our single regret in life is not having them in our 20s. Having to live knowing we could have had an extra 10+ years of life with our kids is very depressing. And it was just due to our own ignorance when we were younger thinking all the dumb shit that people in their 20s say now.

Wife is pregnant with the 2nd kid now. First kid is 3. I love being a dad. It gives me the motivation to be a better person and be a role model. I look forward to coming home from work every day and play with mimy kid from the moment I get home until bedtime.

Having kids is a lot of work and is expensive, but absolutely worth it.
