Sometimes, faith can be reassuring. I think christfags are a problem, and I will not be litting my boys anywhere near a christfag church because of what christfaggotry has become. But when you're young, the thought that there's some guy watching out for you can help you push through until you're mature to realize that life sucks and everything will be okay.
I'm looking at old Celtic/Roman pagan gods to find an appropriate one to get them fixated on nature stewardship. That way when they're old enough, they'll easily realize it was all fake and they'll have just learned how to forage and take care of the woods.

it is naive to think one belief is the only true one, even proof for atheism once you go deep enough says that you cannot trust yourself to know if you are right in your assumtion that atheism is true. heres my true opinion and advice be a good person, have morals and don't think too much about religion and belief in how the world work, if you do this then you will be best equipped for whatever afterlife there is (if there is one)
