When I was 7 I saw an stray dog aggressively playing with my much younger brother. All of a sudden I see my old man show up with a baseball bat and beat the pup to death. Over and over and over he wouldn't stop bashing it on the head until it was pretty much gone.

Ran off back to the house while crying. He only remembers our father yelling and cursing out non-stop. We put the poor thing into a garbage bag and threw it behind a Costco.
