Much like Ferris Bueller for my 16th birthday I wanted a car, instead i got a laptop, so I of course wanted to join Anonymous back in 08.
There was a time I truly loved this place. Raids, Doxing, the thing we don't talk about, Habbo Hotel, the board always had at least 2 MLP threads, the peak for me was a thread during which anons kept sending pizzas to Sandy Hook during the tragedy, and in one of the live stills a Domino's pizza car pulled up in front of a News Van invariably looking for a Jimmy Rustles.
Back then everyone was reminded of the rules lurk moar, and do not post if you're a new fag, during the summer you were constantly accused of being a summer or new fag. Threads were super inventive back then, fresh OC all the time, reworked pasta, raids. I don't remember the last time I saw a slave trying to get page 15 thread.
With all that being said this was a hateful vile place you would see gruesome things, people would sometimes post hard CP, and everyone was generally unkind. Women were particularly treated poorly, you were constantly reminded there were no girls on the internet, and if it was revealed you were a girl you were given two choices tits or gtfo.
In like 2018 or so I came back after a few years, and I realized all the people who made this a unique, and interesting creative space were long gone. Replaced by people who had heard stories of b, and wanted to join the gang, but wanted to gawk instead of contribute. Then it became a hollow imitation of b more peoples idea of it really, and now there is no real OC, no unity, no rules. All summer all the time, I knew It ended where I entered a thread and saw someone claim they were a girl and it split into people asking about her problems, and white knighting, anyone who demanded tits.
Now I just come here once in a blue moon, when im bored or high. Good thread OP, its funny hearing some of the memes you forgot over the years.
