This actually makes it more significant, because the lightning struck his image directly. It could have struck either side (or missed entirely) but it zeroed in on the image of Floyd, suggesting someone up there was pissed off by this idolatry.
And that someone of course is the one true God. Mr. Floyd was a career criminal who armed robbed a pregnant woman at one point. You can be certain that not only is he not a deity worthy of worship, but he also didn't go to heaven when he died, but surely ended up in the other place.
