Think it'll be easy to bypass or cheese? Think it'll even be enforced? Think someone's gunna just make a site to 3rd party it through?

Should I start using a Youtube downloader to back up any shit I need to? I use it for music mostly plus some good vidya guides I refer to once in a while.

Yeah honestly, with how corporate the internet has felt the last 6 or so years I'm surprised it didn't happen during covid when crazy laws/demands were being asked everywhere.

With Youtube, its making me realise that in the last ~4 years I only really use it for music anyway. So I've just spent an hour downloading all the best 1-hour mixes I like as mp3s and now I'm good to go.

The rest of the shit I have on there is just korean baseball cheerleaders and youtube short food recipes I liked when high. I can live without those.
Memes have been shit and vidya-related content has been shit for a long time so nothing of value lost.

there used to be napster and what was it called filemonkey or something like that, that people got files from each other, the need for shit like that went away, well now the need is back, so figure something out, this is a challenge not just something you have to sit back and take it
