Years ago got my diploma, went to tech school, then my first professional job... my last professional job. 6 years and the company laid off 1/3rd the employees during an economic downturn. Have not been able to get a real job since then, had to resort to temp agencies for the last 20 years.
Last temp job had 10 hours weekly mandatory overtime, and asked you to do more, but were still falling behind delivery schedules. Mandatory attendance company meetings; the boss was a tyrant, idiot, and constantly blamed the workers, but excused and elevated management as perfect (why can you useless assemblers and tool operators be as perfect as us management who don't do overtime and are never available when a problem happens?). Build manual for a batch of parts was wrong, we found out after an entire lot was rejected, spic department manager chose me to be at fault... I did not work that lot of parts. Contacted HR to complain. HR, "WE ARE SO SAD YOU CHOOSE TO LEAVE THIS POSITION. HOPE YOU FIND WORK ELSEWHERE." HR was as bad as the boss, she constantly screamed at people, glad to be out of there.
On to the next temp job, but the economy is going down the shit hole fast, and job requirements are increasingly insane, saw one where they wanted years of aircraft experience, years of CAD experience, BS degree, and additionally "other responsibilities" offering ten-cents higher than minimum wage,
