I work at a hostel and I've working there for a week now. I got a call from a someone asking me if there were rooms available and I told him that there were. Then he came by in person and he was a meth addict but I had already told him there were rooms available

He had a picture of is ID and not his physical ID, and paid in cash (it's allowed) but didn't provide a credit card (this isn't allowed because we need one in the system) but went through the process anyway because I didn't know what to do

I fucked up, maybe they will fuck up the room and when my boss tries to charge them they will realize there are no credit cards attached in the system

How can I deal with situations like this?

I wouldn't worry too much - if you didn't know you needed a credit card, then that's poor training
Just learn your lesson and don't let it happen again
If your boss is pissy then they're just a prick

Get security to kick him out and refund him

Unfortunately now that you let the devil into your hostel he will now either do drugs in your room or destroy the room better hope he has a chill high

He seemed pretty chill but the most likely scenario is that he won't wake up soon enough and will have to get kicked out and then the person in the morning will see that my mistake fml
