so is there an actual remedy for chronic anxiety, or am i just stuck taking these dumb pills i was prescribed that don't work very well?

I'm on a lot of pills, these help. I don't know what your anxieties level is like but mines pretty high. You might need to give it time and work using CBT or DBT therapies
