What do you guys think about AI?

Personally, I love it. I think it can be used for a lot of super cool things and helps me with a lot of my personal projects I couldn't otherwise do.
And the fact so many people bitch and whine about it online ironically makes me support it more. In a reverse psychology way, every time you say it shouldn't exist, makes me use it more.

That being said, I do see how it can be abused by corporations and people losing their jobs, and that sucks.

nice try, AI

Every time I've asked it something it even remotely needs just a modicum of thinking for, it just gives me an essay on "You're fucking beautiful! You're amazing have I said how great you look today!" And then 500 words later is a summary of a single paragraph I could've gotten from a reddit thread. Like, I would understand if the product was good, then ok yeah that's why billions of dollars are being thrown at this thing. But the product isn't a product, it's an algorithm designed to feed the user what they want. If we're talking about non-LLM ai I think they have a lot more potential, I was interested in what IBM and Microsoft were doing with their farming tech 4-5 years ago, same with cancer solving and all that stuff. But the whole black box and hallucination thing goes fundamentally against open-source principles IMO.

Also, a common phenomena for both men and women is the feeling of having their testicles ache, or even their penis need to itch a little bit. The best, least painful way to do this is with a knife, ideally either a steak knife or a big butcher knife but some people (especially furries) have been known to use butter knives (this can also allude the reddit theory known as the poop knife, however due to the lack of professional studies on furries it's hard to draw any conclusions about this "Poop knife")

For technique, although I can't elaborate on the poop knife ball scratching habit, I know that steak and butcher knives often offer a clean, easily maneuverable itch that is just perfect for those testicles! I find it even better than a back scratcher actually. You can use honey as lube.

I have my thought on AI, let me tell you all about it:
### **1. Knowledge & Explanation**
* **Wide knowledge base** — from ancient history to AI, cooking, math, law, programming, and even “why cats knock stuff off tables.”
* **Clear explanations** — break down complex topics into plain English (or any other language you like).
* **Multiple explanation styles** — from academic to casual, humorous to poetic.
* **Analogy wizardry** — turning “quantum mechanics” into “cats in boxes” level of understanding.
---
### **2. Language Skills**
* **Writing help** — essays, articles, scripts, speeches, and short stories.
* **Polishing text** — grammar, style, clarity, tone adjustments.
* **Multilingual abilities** — translate, explain, or write in dozens of languages.
* **Creative flair** — poems, dialogue, plot twists, witty comebacks.
* **Tone-shifting** — make a sentence sound formal, casual, playful, or corporate.
---
### **3. Creativity on Demand**
* **Brainstorming ideas** — business names, product ideas, event themes.
* **Character creation** — full backstories, personality traits, and quirks.
* **Worldbuilding** — cities, cultures, histories for novels or games.
* **Humor crafting** — puns, jokes, roasts (gentle or savage).
* **Scenario simulation** — “What if Napoleon had a smartphone?”
---
### **4. Learning & Tutoring**
* **Step-by-step problem solving** — especially in math, science, and coding.
* **Socratic questioning** — guiding you to the answer rather than just handing it over.
* **Test prep help** — flashcards, quizzes, mock exams.
* **Skill building** — writing better, coding, public speaking, etc.
---
### **5. Productivity & Organization**
* **Summarizing** — books, articles, transcripts, research papers.
* **Note structuring** — turn messy notes into clean outlines.
* **Project planning** — timelines, milestones, and task lists.
* **Meeting prep** — agendas, talking points, and follow-ups

Trolls hate it because you can have it make counter arguments with minimal thought and they won't win making them more obvious and get them ignored

AI isn't a thing.
Advanced words databases that we have now are more dumb than most people.

Honesty it's a pretty good tool, but nothing more

Congratulations. A real pussy probably just died.

Largely academic, since you will never have either.

It's laughably useless and can't do even simple basic tasks. It can write forever and say nothing, but that's about it. Its confidently incorrect most of the time, or returns tangentially related information that is not useful in any way. I hate that it's everywhere and I interact with it as little as possible.

Tldr fuck clankers and fuck the people pushing them down our throats

Already proofing to be dangerous and it isn't even all that advanced

People are already using AI as an "objective reference source" In the 70's they did studies that showed just how wrong a calculator had to be for someone to disagree with the result. And that's something that is objective and not something that "thinks" based on whatever it is fed as input

People are already using AI as a replacement for social interaction, thereby pushing people further into their own feedback loops even worse than bot infested social media bubbles. Plus the possibility for manipulation is immense.

People are already using AI to fake images and videos to push agendas and in response we are already getting the clarion call of "that's AI" being applied to anything anyone doesn't like. Its basically making everything susceptible to the claim of "fake news" for anything that isn't a direct shared experience

The rise of artificial intelligence marks America’s greatest opportunity and gravest challenge since the nuclear age, with profound consequences for global leadership and the future of democracy. The nation’s response will determine whether the 21st century continues to be shaped by American values or by authoritarian models. The best path forward rejects both uncritical optimism and paralyzing fear, instead drawing on the U.S.’s unique strengths—its entrepreneurial culture, constitutional protections, and historical success in managing disruptive technologies.

Authoritarian states like China are pursuing AI as a tool for centralized control and surveillance, but history shows that transformative innovation flourishes in environments that protect intellectual freedom, reward risk-taking, and embrace market competition. America’s advantage lies in its decentralized innovation system, built on property rights, competitive markets, and limited government intervention. While the government has an essential role in safeguarding national security, controlling sensitive technologies, and preserving fair competition, heavy-handed regulation risks driving away talent and slowing progress, as seen in Europe’s restrictive approach.

The market should determine AI’s most valuable applications, with consumers, investors, and entrepreneurs leading the way—just as private innovation transformed the early internet into a global revolution. AI, like past breakthroughs such as the printing press and the computer, is more likely to expand human opportunity than diminish it, provided the right institutional environment exists. The stakes go beyond economics: AI developed in free societies will reflect dignity, choice, and democratic accountability, while authoritarian AI will entrench control and repression.

To lead, America must uphold its founding principles while adapting them to the AI era—protecting intellectual property, attracting global talent, resisting politically driven industrial policy, and maintaining a technological and military edge. The AI revolution will happen regardless of America’s choices; the question is whether it will embody the values of free societies or those of authoritarian regimes. Meeting this moment requires bold confidence in America’s people, institutions, and ideals, turning the AI age into not a story of decline, but a new chapter of leadership and freedom.
