The closest thing to cream usually available is cofee creamer. So no, I haven't had the chance to try an authentic one, because I don't go to bars and I'm not really interested in going out of my way to buy the specific items to make it right. I just don't drink often enough to really care.

a whole gallon yeah that's weird especially if it's whole milk that's just a whole lot of calories and skim milk is gross so maybe a half gallon also a2 milk is better for you so is grassfed, I get buckeye creamery milk that is both grassfed and a2. I also get free range eggs and grass fed butter. I'm pretty sure, based on the fact the AHA used to not exist and neither did vegetable oil that and that big canola gave the AHA a million bucks and they are still saying on their website right now that canola oil is safe, that canola oil is not safe and the issue is the omega ratio, you can't just increase omega 3, you need to decrease omega 6, meaning you have to stop eating all processed food basically and only grassfed animals. But I live on milk and stuff. I make cake and break it up and pour milk and chocolate over it. I'd bring half a cake around with me all day if it weren't so crumbly. I think a pint of yogurt would make the most sense or like someone else said kefir

Sheepskin was also used but considered inferior quality due to it being more porous and therefore would sweat much more easily. If you're going to read about ancient people, read ancient books.
