I'm giving you good advice. If you're life sucks and someone isnt literally holding you hostage, then at a certain point you have to acknowledge its you holding yourself hostage. Either your apathy to do anything, or your need for constant adrenaline making you do stupid things, but either way, you have to take accountability and accept that its you.
Staying inside is one of the most common attributes for depressed males. Go hiking, take up photography, join a gym, sign up for martial arts. The gym and martial arts are my favorites because it feeds my need to keep my hands occupied and has more adrenaline than other hobbies. And trust me, no one is going to make fun of you if you start going. People like seeing newcomers make progress. After a few weeks, a martial arts studio is seriously like a family no matter what your talent level is. You'll like it, man. Im just trying to help you.
