I've thought about using my GI bill and getting an MBA but that's only good if I can fully commit to school, which I'm not in a financial position to do. BAH and the GI bill benefits take out the cost of school but not a lot of the rest of costs of living.
I want to get a job that pays me closer to $100k a year first so I can actually be stable. Spending 75% of my net income on a mortgage and utilities sucks. Getting a pay bump to be close to six figures would let me put money into savings, seriously invest in retirement and basically live comfortably without needing to put in 50 hours a week to stay afloat.
I'll probably retrain and wind up back in the Corps. I miss it more than anything, even if its me desperately grasping to the last bit of youth I have.
