I wonder if there are any cute traps without AIDS or meth addictions in Elkhart, IN on a random Thursday night. From the looks of the place, I doubt it.

I got some expensive IMU unit for cheap, so want to play with it a bit. Maybe try underground navigation in a cave or something like that if it really works as advertised.
I have built drones and other things before, just exploring and learning something new every time. Sometimes it's frustrating, but usually it's quite relaxing to work on something and accomplish and learn something new by yourself. I have always been like this, since the school... mostly technical stuff, often fixing things etc.
Yeah, all totally uninteresting stuff for the thread like this lol

Almost everything I know is self-taught. I dropped out of school halfway through 9th grade, but still ended up [insert technical profession] at a high level.
Why do you want to make something that can navigate underground? Just to see if you can do it, or to serve a hobby related to cave diving or something, or just hoping to make some money?

I'm just curious if this thing really works (it's mil surplus, so who knows...) and interested how it compares with cheap stuff that's used on drones that's all in one chip. If it works, I can probably sell it to someone that maps caves (that's one actual good use that I can think off... but I'm not into that). But it's just exploring some interesting tech and learning something new for me...
