Sat down, realized he forgot to grab the chili, got up walked back towards the stand, turned around and a dog fucking stole his only food for the day.

If that what keeps you going, then so be it. Taught my kids that if they meet someone like that, its not worth the fight. They're just miserable and enjoy making everyone that will be around them the same. Surprisingly, I've discovered that even wealthy, we'll off people can be the same.

It was after he passed that I learned the rest of the story. He chased that dog, not so much as to get the food back, but he legit wanted to kick it's ass. While chasing, he ran into an alleyway where he ran into a club bouncer. He gave up the chase and started explaining what was going on. My parents did quite fine raising us, but it's very obvious that they don't really love each other anymore and are staying together only for convenience. My mom needs dad's money, and he needs someone to take care of the house, that's about it.
