I need some advice /b/ros...
There are 2 keyboards that are going to start group-buy pretty soon, and I can only afford 1.
The first one is cheaper, aluminum case, brass weight, full-size keyboard without a function row (I think it looks quite nice). It has more traditional ano colors and I've been following it for a while now.
The second is a more expensive (almost twice as much), aluminum case, brass weight as well, but it has a function row. It has cerakote colors that I'm not sure I love, but they are interesting.
The mounting styles for both are very similar.
I'm leaning towards the cheaper one, but what are your thoughts?
The keyboards in question are the Fossil R2 and the Etar87

I have this pretty sweet SteelSeries keyboard for like $40 on Amazon, changed the gay rainbow lights to white (you can do that) and I've been using it for years now.

I collect them! I enjoy building them as well.
Custom keyboards are one of my hobbies.
I don't have a full-sized keyboard because they are pretty rare in the custom board space (surprisingly), so I was going to pick one of these up for my collection.

I just like typing and customizing them
I spend most of my work day in front of a keyboard, so I might as well enjoy typing I guess...
I use each of them pretty often - usually cycling through them every so often

That's cool. If you do a lot of typing, whether for work or personal interest, at least that somewhat justifies a fancy mechanical keyboard.
